Fallout wasn't built for PVP combat, and so we really shouldn't be afraid of making drastic changes to help the balance of the game.
Fallout's weapon balance was poor at best (lol all AP ammunition/14mm pistol), and the odd change to damage mod isn't going to change that. If you want to make the FOnline combat system something other than a polished but nostalgic turd, it needs an overhaul.
Here's a list of things that have been said that I'm pretty sure either aren't possible at the moment, or are just against what the devs are trying to do.Things not to post about:HtH runs when attacks (engine dependent?)New weapons (not until after 3d models are finished)Rewards for donating (violates copyright or some such legal stuff)Addition of Arroyo (players would be interacting with F2 hero)Guarded HQ mines (unguarded because the contents are valuable)Buying furniture-lockers, workbenches etc. (not quite sure what stops this, but the devs have said no repeatedly)Upgrading tents/Building bases (requires dynamic objects, difficult with the engine)There's definitely some more
