Description:
Combat Interface MK1
I'm glad to present the interface, which firstly were made for our team only (DMC), but now I desided to put it onto public judgement :)
This interface are based on WHINE team's "Minimal Interface". I tried to make it in colors of Combat Armor with addition of rust in some places.

Combat Interface MK2
Changelog:
- Smaller size of buttons on the interface (which nobody is using)
- Chat window is invisible by default and could be activated, by pressing F5 button
- Some other tiny fixes

Install: simply extract the archive to your_fonline_folder/data/art/intrface
If you have any other interface installed, then delete of rename its folder.

It also would be working well for hi-res (1280x1024). To make it working properly, just install 1024x768 version and set in FOConfig.exe resolution at 1279x1024 (or so).

Could message window be a bit wider? And what is this small ... something below and left? Message window could be enlarged with that width, I think it will be closer to original one then.

Got it. New size is almost ready. Tbh, I completed it on March, 26, but got one problem and stopped making it for some time. But tomorrow, I guess, I'll continue developing it.
p.s. What king of windows are you talking about? Is it small or big one?
As for me, it is better to have small window hidden, and big appears when I press F5.

I don't know if you already know this, but right of the main interface window there is a hidden button called "Map" and when you press it, it bring up the Map screen from PipBoy.

Dunno, if there is a reason to make it. Coz u could just set resulution at 1279x800, and it'll be working as 1024x768.

Graf thanks a lot, it works fine. Message window enlarges with F5 just like I expected, to up and left.
I've noticed that when you enlarge it, line to type messages disappears, but you still can write and chat with it. I don't have a possibility to make a screenshot right now.

I think this was removed for server stability.

I have probably found a little bug - dunno if i did something wrong but in 800x600 version Combat button works for me as Turn button and vice versa..But thanks a lot anyway, I like this interface very much...

Thanks for your feedback. I changed these buttons settings, so it should be ok now. DL (http://www.mediafire.com/?ydz0dgjdzfg) Despite this, I recommend everyone to use 1024x768 version, cause it's working much better. If your screen resolution doesn't allow it, you could set resolution in FOConfig.exe of something about 801x600

Preview works again (for me at least), I think it had to due with the server.

Thanks for positive comments, guys. It's really important to me.
What I want to show now, is somehow improved version of that interface. That's what I'm using by myself, because it's seems much more usable, than usual Combat Interface.

Ye, in the update I'll probably add an optional left sided chat window.
You may cut off AC from there it's pretty useless.
It doesn't looks like a good idea to me, because that interface is already pretty small.

After the latest update, there is a bug with object button were encountered. I'm currently working to fixing it.
UPDATE: Seems to be, that there is no chance to fix it by myself. The only thing are left, is to wait till the devs fix engine flaw.

Nope, there is no such thing, so you should find out it by yourself. It's almost always easy to understand, what's the commands function from their names.

Well the basic ones are pretty obvious but I have no clue on more than half of them. English is not my native language so some commands are still mystery for me.

It would be nice if we could start wiki page about interface modding with such list of commands and their explanation + few basic advices. Anyone up to it?  ;D

Good idea :) But it's restricted to create a new pages, so we should ask devs to be able doing that.

Afaik they can customize access to wiki as they want so maybe create new page and allow anyone to modify just that single page.

Agree with that, with much testing you can do few things but hell, that's hard and help would be welcome!

I advise you to download the latest version which is available in first post of this topic. If it wont help, then you better start using Combat Interface MK2.

Since the wipe has happened, interfaces need to be updated. I had uploaded an MK2 1024 version here (http://www.mediafire.com/?i5ened5wba2b2ns). Links in first post are updated too. Updates for other versions are coming soon.
Item slot will be exceeding its corners, till devs will give away a list of commands.

Absolutely no chance, however the engine supports resolution from 800x600 to 1280x1024 maximum  :)
Thank you Graf. I have a question, how did you fix the issue?
Well... I replaced almost all of commands from the new default.ini (which are stored in faction007.dat) to my default1024x748.ini. Basically, most of commands only became shorter. "Down" were replaced by "Dn", and also there is no more letters, which mean what kind of command is it, i mean:
IntBSomethingDown (old) = IntSomethingDn (new)

You can manually set any resolution (in FOConfig.exe) between those 800x600 and 1280x1024. For example, 1280x720 is 16:9.

Yep, Im using that and it works just fine, only world map travelling is a bit odd. Anyway, for that resolution we need 800x600 interface, so Im eager to see updated version of your fine tool  ;)

Hey Graf, some things to improve your interface even more!
-There is actually no negative AP when KO. It would be good to add it.
-You should add the red dot which show you that you are doing an animation and don't regerate your AP atm.
-Put the chat window on left side ;p and make it with a little transparancy.

pop behind the message box when i press F5 that makes it easier to read and for that I put it in the interface folder and changed these lines

IntAddMessWindowPic=iface_add_mess.png
IntAddMessWindow=337 -668 687 -568

That is for the 1024 resolution.

I like this interface, so I hope Graf fixes the world map :)

Also, I'm trying to find out how to fix the location of the chat box that you write in. Right now it's location changes depending on whether you have pressed F5 or not.

IntMessTabPic= There picture of status
IntMessTab=x1 y1 x2 y2 - there is coordinates of first status image (0,0 - is left top corner)
IntMessTabStepX=x2-x1 or 0 - this is step next image at x origin
IntMessTabStepY=y2-y1 or 0 - this is step next image by y  origin

The world map is the right size now, but the messages on the world map are in the old wrong place.

Change

GmapChat=185 674 1006 759

to

GmapMessageBox=185 674 1006 759

to fix it.

The messages in the top left corner turned to the default ones after one of the latest updates. Did this happen to anyone else?

Fix For Negative AP When KOed:

Put these images in your interface folder:

Change these lines in the code:

IntApGreenPic=diodeg.png
IntApYellowPic=diodey.png
IntApRedPic=dioder.png

This will make the regular AP yellow, the bonus move AP green, and the negative KO AP red.

Anyone know how to fix the chat bar in one place? Right now the place changes depending on whether you have pressed F5 or not.

Can somebody upload a working link for working interface (800x600)?

downloaded from pervious pages but it dosent working fine(cant see any interface O_O)
