you get private mine after talking to an npc at a public one and paying him... for further details i don't know.

It seems like with any NPC faction you join the Unity will hate you.  Is there anyway to improve your reputation with the unity other than waiting 20 days for it to decrease in 200?

Kill BoS i "THINK".  or kill VC im pretty sure.

How much would it raise it per kill?  I wouldent want to make me neutral with one faction and hated even more by another. 
However, I do much more around broken hills than vc.

Aint around VC enough to know exactly how much, never cared about mutie or bos rep to bother looking.

Yeah it should.  It's like a big expensive tent with a lot less than 75k worth of resources.
Oh, and you already bought it, but their spawn locations seem pretty random.  I bought one at the NCR mine and the private mine was up northwest of redding.

Kill slavers, its +10 per kill for most factions and they don't even get hostile. You can burst them from point blank to end the combat before they get a chance to fight back.
It will lower your rep with raiders but I don't know how much.

What are the locations that are forbidden to assault? I am aware of the Fortress and maybe NCR mine, is anyone aware of any other locations?
