That's not suggestions we're writing, that's mostly empty wishes! Gimme PA, Gauss Rifles or Permadeath, pweeze.
"Suggestions" sounds just nicer. They pick up, what they like and let the rest die. They're not obligated to "fulfill the wishes"

Why should they care about the playerbase with this? They pay for the servers from their own pockets, spend their freetime on coding and patching, whatthefuckever, it's a busy life in Camelot.

What do they get from the playerbase? Appreciation? More like demands and complaints,

It's not a brainer, that it makes the devs so pissed, so they just fuck the playerbase over with 'fixes'. Players - let'em suffer, they ain't paying or something.
Wasteland, blah, Harshness, STFU or GTFO. And there's no other Fallout Online out there, except TLA.

I always had this feeling on forums, and you may ban or flame me, i don't care.

As been said a dozen times, this will most likely never happen.
We play some average wastelanders, not some uber technicians.
Not even the Chosen One was able to find more then one functionating robot.
In the entire game of FO2 (not even counting FO1) there weren't that many people with a personal robot.

Yep, some people were in possession of robodogs, like doctors. Good for us, because some of us could be also the intelligent part of society to own robots.

Average wastelander can have a bank account, hire merc and find a gattling laser where it was only Enclave or BOS to have it!

LOL. If you went to Sierra you could fight with 40-50 robots there.

Also, about other post you posted. About being unfallouty, in your thinking, the whole Fonline shouldnt exist as well. Mercs are fallouty, TC or crafting?

Yeah. You probably forgot that all these doctors/scientists were topmembers of their respective faction, not just some wasteland scum trying to make a living.

I don't see what having a bank account or hiring a merc is above average? Also, Gatling Lasers and stuff are in there to test things out, when FOnline will be more fleshed out all this high tech stuff won't be available anymore , or very hard to find, wait for new updates. And speeking about high tech stuff - so are robots.

And yes, crafting stuff from scratch out of ressources you find in the wasteland is very wastelandish and fits the setting pretty well. In Fallout you could hire Mercs aswell.  ::) And as we aren't the chosen one with his unique and "epic" quests we have to do fighting for the living (TC).

Discussion gets boring anyway.

I agree. Robots could be tested as well and very hard to find in the future as well  :-\ Anyway why narrowing something that already was a feature of the game in F2. I dont really care how it sounds, but mutant mercs are even less to be followers in F2 than robots. In my opinion mutants are unfalloutish. If you can convince a mutant weilding a shit shovel you should be able to press 'follow me' button on a damn stupid robot

I like the idea. But these robots should be really hard to find. In some special encounters for example, if these encounters, as well as players encounters, are fixed first of course  :D But it's another debate.

Would be really nice to see some robots from time to time, other that our beloved JovankaB.

If robotic mercs would be findeable in special encounters only then you wont see any in game really, it would look like this case with PA - anybody who get it he will put it in his tent/base and show only to friend.
That makes them useless.

So why not make them common and useful for hunting? They could do defend well against bullets (normal dmg) but would be vulnerable to EW. They could be used even in TC so that EW would be played more often. I suggested making the robots available that use melee dmg, like eyebot, robodog and mr handy.

As I remember in F2 you could have only marcus from mutants and yet we have mutant mercs, why not having robot ones as well? In F2 you could have 3 robots with you (2 robodogs and 1 that chosen one created)

The reasons have been stated many times in this and other threads. We already have other mercs, no need for new ones (especially such ridicolous ones).

What about them being resistant to normal dmg unlike any other mercs? Others arent resistant. Mutants are vulnerable to normal and robots would not. When I try to think as you mutants are similarly ridiculous as robots. Are you a fan of them?

That's my lol of the day, thank you sir.

I was just paraphrasing you :p I proved that there are more robot followers than mutants. Based on that I said it. Well? This aint true? Robots are more falloutish than mutants, simply for the reason above (3 robots, 1 mutie)

What ridiculous you see in robotic mercs?  ::)

And indeed, having mutant as a "slave for money" (that's the only good description for merc) is more riddiculous than building your own robo-doggy.

You do realize how imbalanced this would be?

And you do realize that many, many mutants are roaming the wasteland since the master fell?
There is the unity, they dwell even in NCR etc. They are part of the wastelands community, unlike the few robots.

Yes, because it's totally easy for everyone to find all the needed parts to build a robo doggy, not even speaking of programming the AI...  ::) Sure, every tribesmen can do that!

PvP is already imbalanced as hell so, so what?

I think you purposely dodged his point there, he meant you could only have ONE Mutant follower and THREE robot followers in Fo2.

If you work really really hard at something and... you know, go to VC and become a citizen for doing "favors" and learn how to yeah EVERY tribesman can do that.  Its called persistance or dedication or... etc.

I am here to bitch.

Nuh really. Mh. Oh me oh my! Getting emotional 'n' all!
Hope them row-boats get implemented. Regardless of the "how".
I am so okay with a new character specialization craft progression (technolo-dude) and the normal "follower" robot (charisma dependant, and hell to lay hands on) that I could totally draw a pretty bunny rabbit with your blood! (see Dr. Mc Ninja). I'm okay with any of those. Mebbe not "mercs". But certainly robot followers, indeedy.

Just doeth.

I love how everyone just forgets that robots were common and mass produced before the war. Finding a few broken robots and replacing parts till one works is easier to do than making new PA (which enclave did). There was 3 robots you could get on your team in f2 and 2 of them were made from scratch. We need robo dogs and robobrains. Maybe for the robo brain you'd have to use high doc % on a corpse to remove the brain intact.
