Easiest and funnest of all events would be warzone with pipe rifles only, im tellin ya :D

I suggest Golgotha, where it was already before - it's near worldmap center, empty for the most of time, visible for everyone (unlike SAD for example). Dunno much about technical issues, but it requires only to spawn shitload of stuff and to take care that no one will leave with any gear.
I won't participate this, but I remember that many people liked it a lot.

The Warzone events use their own map. Also, this event needs some improvements before we make it again - we'd already have done it again if we were ready.

Nerds vs. brutes

2 people camps:nerds(lvl 3 crafters) and brutes(others)will fight betuin echother)
there is a cach:nerds have unlimited resourses and brutes have only leather jakets and 10mm pistols/flamers/laser pistols/roks and spears
brites will be a lot and nerds litle
the brutes will win like usualy,or the nerds will get there sweet revange?

Sparta! is not bad, melee weapons only :)

Why don't you make some oldschool quest like kill all critters in some dungeon (mariposa/boneyard vault/vault 13) fight against supermutant boss in end and receive a reward.

I suggest a prison breakout.
The arriving players will be divided randomly into Guards and Prisoners, just like in The Experiment.
Many bluesuits try to escape a prison complex past the security personell and systems, played by chosen players and GMs.
At the exit is a large armory as a prize, everyone gets as much he can carry or die from irradiation.

Apropos irradiation:

There will be an incident at Gecko and needs to be "liquidated", cause ghouls are too weak to manage everything by themselves. Send in the bluesuits to shovel radioactive shit away or get buckets of natrium inside of the reactor. There will be Rad-X and Rad-Away, brought with several large deliveries from VC. Don't use them up too quickly and do the job before you get liquified.

Why not have a few suits of power armor given out or hidden on the map somewhere, make it so they cant be unequipped and somehow put a bounty on them or make an item that tracks the the armor once it is equipped... the fact i said make so many times probably means that there is to much scripting involved, but to see power armors put in for events would be very interesting. You could have it so the item breaks after a day or 2?(power supply dies or something). Or just make them impossible to repair. Its cool for even the ones who don't get armor because we could form hunting party's to attempt to slay the lucky few. Would be funny to see a noob find the power armor and put it on only to be tracked down by the hoards and have it stolen away...

i Thing all player should know about Event.. If you say to much player = big lag.. So create two event in same time :)

Event similiar to the one that was held a couple days ago, here it goes:

Master's army starts growing in power once again, led by a couple mutants, they seek shelter in various places all over the wasteland. They are slowly gathering and it's up to players to kill them before they're able to succeed and group up to assault Vault City.

Now, to the technical side. Each of the mutant generals would do their best to prevent their stronghold to be taken. The strongholds would be located in these places: Junkyard, Waterworks and Themepark. Players would have some time to gather up their forces and simultaneously take all of the bases by force, holding some strategical point for a certain time, since the mutants would constantly spawn inside. Time for the event would be limited of course and should the players fail, mutants will gather up and storm Vault City, which would be the next part of event, if they won't defend it in time, server will be off, assuring that nobody will shoot each other, afraid to lose their source of addiction.

Don't know if it has been suggested before or even possible..

1) Supermutant uprising at Mariposa military base: players get divided into 2 teams, one gets transformed into supermutants and starts down there in the base with appropriate weapon stash, the second team is given some advanced power armors and some not-so-advanced weaponry (as in F2). The supermutant team has to break out, the enclave team has to hold them in. The weapon/armor stashes are limited, so one of the teams can dominate eventually when it has killed (and looted) a certain amount of opposing players.

2) Hold-up/hijack: that should be an easy one to make at least.. players get an alert, something like 'you have learned that a strongly guarded caravan transporting a large amount of cash is headed from NCR to San Francisco', then a GM leading an actual caravan with this brahmin carriage and some guards goes in the announced direction, stopping for a few minutes in every square. So there's the yellow circle on the map and any player can enter the location and try to rob the caravan.. The caravan starts with e.g. 10k caps and carries on whichever loot they get from unlucky attackers. So if the caravan is finally killed, the successful attacker gets the initial reward plus additional spoils.. and/or the keys from the brahmin carriage. If the caravan reaches its destination, well good luck next time:)

like the rocket ball event,but more "the ball",no wepons,1vs1:like : a2-a4,and every 1 has a SMG which shoot the other enemy pieces:limit:1 min)

A zombie-like survival scenario:

Players would be set to an entirely urban zone (ruins, skyscrapers, etc.), either have a large amount of 'survivors' or a small amount.

The players would be given time to spread out, possibly make defenses, hole up their own fortification, or spend their whole time running.

After their time is up the map would be filled with ghoul crazies, scavengers, and possibly a few supermutants and others.

The survivors would either have low hp, or the 'zombies' would have powerfists and other unarmed weaponry to deal damage.

Perhaps after the survivors die they would be turned into zombies?

Either set a time limit in which they have to survive over a certain amount of rounds (zombies get stronger), last man standing, or kill all zombies.

Survivors have the opportunity to group up, isolate themselves, work together... for a while, or fight each other for survival. Make it interesting by promising more items or some kind of treasured junk for less survivors alive, which would make the players more up for defection from their once most treasured race.
