update fonline, delete cache files, just not default cache.
which Cache files? cause it seems i have te same Problems too. New Computer, windows seven, updated Fallout online, try to register, but there is no text like "registration sucesfull" or so like it was before ,wenn i try to login , for a second came loading screen and then back to login , also the "authentification"-message

games wont work on my computer yesterday it works perfectly. when i started the game the first time, my old nickname appears. i changed it, tried to login , only for a second authenitifcation and then back to the login side.tried to restart the client, to delete the cache file, nothing helps

Is the game updated? I am not sure about it, but name of the version in that log seems to be different than "version 0320-FF", that one will be able to read in the game after he presses F1 button.

i tried to update but aftet the attempt to download a new file there comes "unable to save file" ??

Then either your client is open as you are downloading (You can't have client up while running updater), or you need to create a folder named "scripts" in data folder.

Ok, ive done everything that you showed and i still get the MASTER.DAT file not found... i have no clue what to do at this point, ive tried everything that i know of.

Do you have the first Fo2 disk?  or have you maybe .... gotten these files in some inconspicuous way?

Ok, Put the Fo2 Disk in your drive.  Extract the "Critter.dat" and "Master.dat" from the disk.  Then Paste them in your FOnline folder.

Works for me anyway.

Is critical failure chance independent of chance to hit? I.e. I have 1 luck and am getting many crit failures but also have 23 weapon skill so if i increase it 100+ will crit failure rate go down?

If I am right...  Critical failures only happen when you miss...  Because through testing I have noticed weapon skill is directly correlated with the amount of critical misses.  So in my theory, yes, more skill means the more the critical failure rate goes down.  Not sure how Jinx mechanics affect this, since there's no way you can miss and critical fail so many times with 95% to hit as often as jinx chars cause.  So I think I am wrong.
