Hi everyone, I'm new here, and i registered because i needed some help.

I came across FOnline a while ago and thought it looked really cool and i wanted to try it, but i couldn't because i couldn't find my Fallout 2 game disc.


Just yesterday i found my install disc and i remembered looking this up, and since my friend and I were playing FO3 at the same time, i suggested that we try this to play together.

So i installed FO2, downloaded and setup the paths the installer asked, etc. When i tried to update all i get is this:

Connecting to the update server...
Can't connect to the update server (94.23.237.127).

Tried changing the port from 2238 to 4040 like i have seen some mention, still did nothing.

My friend has the same problem. Is it that i just happened to try it on a day the server went down, or are we both doing something wrong. We really want to try it out together.

Any help is appreciated

I'm new as well, and also cannot connect to the update server. I guess the server is down.

Hey thanks buddy, it works! Y'all just DL the rapidshare and paste it into the FOnline folder and you're good to go.

Those who waits... believe its worth the wait.. i've been pissed at this game so many times, but i cant leave it alone! the fallout world is the best (except FO3, its only good :p )

I will wait, I'm really looking forward to this.

And i agree that FO3 was just good, the older ones were better. I have hope that New Vegas will be closer to the older ones since its being made by the original devs.

But still on gay Oblivion engine (don't remember its name) :< I'm pretty sure that New Vegas gonna be much better than FO3, but FO3 is still good with mods
