If you're using a high-power rifle without any compensator the recoil might hurt.

The satisfaction of desired bloodshed will make up for it.

You'd dislike when you'd found out that you are not authorized to open fire unless given previous order.

Obviously.
To be honest, i have no idea what is it like to be in war and hope, not ever to experience it or let experience anyone else, for God's sake.
Of course it will be harshly different from peaceful boredom at duty.

All i know, that is a trauma and noone have the better idea, no matter the talking, than the one soldier having experienced it firsthand.

Think it's funny when people say they would join to protect their country or 'inside borders', when a country is just a strip of land and imaginary borders. It's like dying for pair of expensive brand shoes.

No direspect to the puny humans on planet earth that continue to have stupid conflicts.

Well I am from murica soooo no. Why would I want to fight corrupt wars against innocent people and risk dying for nothing. Also I am lazy as hell and wouldn't make it past any kind of training lol.

Id say killing for your country goes out the window in real combat, if you were in heavy combat with risk of death, you wouldnt be thinking about how proud your making your countryman, you would be more worried about your own squads survival.

Only a fool loves war or someone who has never experienced it.
Notions of loyalty and honor go out the window when you see half your mates face ripped away by a bullet and if you do not have a strong mind for what you may witness in a time of war, it can fuck you up.

If I had to join the army I would. But id be a different person having survived it.

And why?

Wars we have in our days are for oil and other resources. not for freedom or capitalism..

War for profit is the very essence of capitalism
