Yeah now if we can just get a answer about whether or not the new 'special' encounters for the vehicles is stuck to an area like all the others, or truly random and can pop up similar to footlockers only more maps?

My eyebots are scanning the Wasteland for this particular area, since when it's revealed, it will be crowded with car farmers, just like with Gauss Pistols.

I hope these encounters will be anywhere in the wasteland.
So anyone would have chances to get them, not only those who stick in the same grid for entire days...

More fun for tb players. I think water works could be place to find fire truck, sg to get higwayman cop car, hub to get bike...

I sure hope it's open to the whole wasteland, or at least certain 'types' of maps like the locker system because you're soo right if it's a fixed area then it's just gonna be farmed to death.

None of the special encounters is fixed anymore since a few patches. They also aren't one time only now. In the same time, we changed chance for finding them and some other stuff if I remember correct, so they become more special encounters and less generic farmery encounters.

So good to hear that.

P.S.: Are there any requirements? Like level,SPECIAL or something like that? Or just real life luck?

Sheessh can't you just relax and hope to stumble upon it some day without circling on tiles with specialized build??

I don't think we should give away details about mechanics of treasure locations.

Same.
As much as I would like to get encounter like that, I still belive I'd be far happier if I stumbled upon it completly randomly, than going on map around in 4 blocks where I heard they are.

If it can be found everywhere on WM, then no need for it. But if it is in some area, like the Gauss Pistol was, then you should give us a hint. (If the latter is true i think it would be better to make it a quest or riddle of some sort. Its better than farming in 4 squares.)

I was wondering, why i never found a special encounter and some found it many times. Then someone told me, that i need to search in specific location.

I know, that by revealing mechanics you can spoil the game. But on the other hand, player should have a way of determining whether he has a chance to succeed or not. Whether something is good for what he wants to achieve or not.

For example im still not sure, whether the chance to encounter something is affected by outdoorsman and outdoorsman related perks which increase WM speed or not. I think there is a roll performed on every step (red dot on WM) whether there will be encounter or not on that spot.
