Will there be new animations, like sitting in front of fire, whittling wood, smoking or cleaning the weapon?

Not in the beginning, but later for sure.

Okay, I am going to be serious. I hate the idea. I hated van buren tech and I hate this idea, I play 2238 for the old school feeling.
If you want classic Fallout, just go to TLA. There won't be 2,5D.

Discussions are always nice, but getting something finally done is much nicer. People like to talk, without much real outcome.

Well I mean if there were some expectations then VB 3D models were not amongst them. I think no one saw that coming. But I love community work and when I see weapon models growing in numbers every day then I must admit this could be something epic and unheard of in Fallout modding.

Downside is that if you speak english, you get shot.

Weekend would be quite fitting.
The sooner one start to level, the better. Can't wait for the Ragnarok party.

I just hope they give us a date/time the server will close, just so we all can go in and waste all ammo/armors/weapons just before the end :D

It could probably be sunday or monday. Depends on how fast we can fix the last problems + test it. Let's hope nothing big will hit in between.

I still can be reached over e-mail if you somehow need anything from me. Don't see a reason why you would, but if you do, e-mail remains the safest bet, as I do not visit this forum reliably anymore.

Nope, it kills my memories when I was 10 years old child, my brother brought that game from one of his friends, I can remember killing rats with fists and very low hand-to-hand skill, 'cause I didn't want to waste bullets... killing all raiders by starting fight in one room, where they can come one by one, then Fallout 2, when you wasting to much time to kill ALL (yeah need to get max. XP!) ants/scorpions/geckos with your fists, again, with very low unarmed skill. And then kill all slavers in Den with magnum (picked from trader's body in south of town), but before start eye-shoting with magum, you stealing Metzger's shotgun and one slaver's psycho. That was really nice time...

You need to realize that Devs are trying to evolve the game. IMO it is a good move I would like to personalize my character's look. It will be nice to see differences beetwen others players. Not just the same bluesuit chars - it's borring.

FO it's not a F1 or F2. Nobody changes your game from childhood, so if You want to - You can always turn them on and memorize.
