and 14mm has -50 dr, you have to consider base damage as well. As for needing 250 sm guns skill, we talking 95% eye shots at 50 hex?
yea comparing pistol with sniper rifle is interesting...

head shot ... whatever you could say 200 or 220 as well - the cost is same to rise above 200

well the only sensible solution would be nerfin .223 and buffing 7.62 but i can hear the screem "omfg you nerrfed my super weak SG weaponz"

Buffing maybe, but why nerf the weakest major weapon type in the game? You can make rockets right off the bat with BG and that will kill you faster than anything sg can produce.

.223 needs no nerf (and I'm not playing Small guns char). On the other hand 7.62 is quite useless now for the price and what you need to make it.
