Hi wastlanders, today i am sharing with you a pack of funny sounds dedicated to The Amboy Tactical Tool, here is the list of news match words with sounds :

Installation :

Just extract the .rar in your fonline folder, if you already add some modifications in your config.xml don't replace it, if not click yes !

Nope. Made some clean up in my box now

But, although they are .wav files, they can't be played with Winamp or that kind of programs, only in "the game", which I think is only Bladur's Gate and not PS:T. The Amboy Tactical Tool won't play them either

Convert'em dude.
I suggest using Foobar2000, a small utility program that let's ya listen, convert and save from a CD to a MP3 file your music! (other formats supported)

Won't work. I've even tried it with Cubase SX and it still whines that the files are encrypted. You can't do much against that.

All you can do is record the sounds while playing the game.

Then, some dedicated software. I knew one that allowed you to even edit files, jokin' with mixer, and stuff, but cannot rember name.

best option is

Windows got the tools to do so. I think.

Cubase SX is already a professional audio editing software.

The best think could be adding .wav and other format support for Amboy Tactical Tool then.

I installed Torment (texts were in Spanish but the voices were the original ones), and downloaded those two tools Surf posted before (Near Infinity + acm2wav), I could listen to the files and even export them, but they could not be played by any other software. So what did I do? I played them with Near Infinity and recorded them with AD Sound Recorder.

The result was a lot of archives which could already be used with the Amboy Tactical Tool, but they had a little "silence" of about one second at the beginning: it was the time that passed between clicking "start recording" in AD recorder and then "play" in Near Infinity.

So I edited all the archives with Free Audio Editor and erased that silence: and now they are all ready for you to be used as you wish.

I hope you enjoy them! And of course thanks Caled again for this awesome tool!

As promised there: http://fodev.net/forum/index.php?topic=18719.msg154873#msg154873, I added the feature of binding keys to catch lines.
It works using the new section in the config file of the tool:

Self explanatory really.
As it opens and closes the chatbar really fast, I don't think PvP experience will be altered, but I didn't test it in action.
Also if you want total immersion, you can play a sound on your own catch lines by adding them in the <audio> section.

And please don't use it to spam the radio 0 channel
