It's not a bug, it never was. Jet addiction lasts forever since Fallout 2 and an antidote for it is like a power armor.
Beside this, I've added some hints to the item description now. Stop crying.
"Jet is a powerful metamphetamine that stimulates the central nervous system. The initial euphoric rush rarely lasts more than a few minutes, but during that time the user is filled with a rush of energy and
strength."
(ingame description)
Hints to permanent effect? Where?
Also:
"Immediate: +2 to Maximum Action Points,-1 to Charisma
-2 to Strength, -15% to DR"
(wiki stats)
"Jet was created by Myron, a young scientist working for the Mordinos family, in the New Reno stables. Jet became quickly a cheap and popular drug, spreading to other towns like Redding thanks to the Mordinos contacts all over the wasteland. Because it has a 100% chance of addiction, once you've consumed a jet dose, you're in the business."
(Wiki description)
...
And no Im not remaking my char for something this stupid that could've easily been avoided if the appropriate text was in.
It's entirely up to GM's to take responsibility at this point.
I've no reason to waste a single hour of my time for it, whereas they clearly do.
