Yes, she has a bigger item list. In general she buys everything that is junk, scrap or whatever you have salvaged from wherever (except plants and so on).

No, it'll save breaking counts, price will be low and it'll deteriorate faster, even if description will say 0% det and without repairs.

Also don't be surprised if you upgrade and try to sell it straight away, the vendor might show you the full price but you wont be able to sell it (haven't tried this in a while so it might have been fixed).

in modoc you can talk with all or nearly all npcs :>
And this seems to be right to important npcs in klamath (except some like black trapper which gives toxic caves location and such)
