Umm... Radiated can't run? You sure? Anyway, go to a doc (it ussually requires about 650 (minimally radiated) to about 3k caps (heavily radiated) or use a rad-away.

You should try to press maj or activate auto run in FOconfig. Radiation doesn't prevent you to run, only overweight or crippled leg does..

Oh, yeah, well, go TurnBased until you get your legs fixed back up.

You're probably overweight from losing ST.  Also, the amount doctors charge to fix you up doesn't depend on radiation level, or even if you're radiated, have broken limbs, whatever.  It's level based, 50 caps per level.  So it's 1050 caps at level 21.

well i have what to say in here too, i was exploring map areas just for the lulz, to have all of them on my world map revealed, so i went to glow, and when i was about to die from radiation robots finished me, so i died not from radiation, but my stats all were close to 01 01 01 01 01 01 01, when i used mentats my charisma was still 1 so i could not talk to doctor so he could not heal radiation, i used like 5 rad aways, still no effects, then i used like 5 more rad aways and finally my charisma  (03) + mentats charisma let me have 3 charisma so i could talk to doctor and he removed my radiation. So i think with current system it is really stupid feature, and either doctors should talk to you when you have 1 charisma, or radiation should disappear on death like before.

Yeah, it's true, people who are radiated die much faster even IRL.

You have to give radaways time to work, and can't just pop 10 at a time:  http://www.fo2238.fodev.net/wiki/RadAway

Also, there are docs that talk to 1 CH folks.  Dr. Jubilee in NCR, Montag in Adytum, the Junktown doc (I think), Renesco in Reno, and hell, probably the doc inside the VC vault too.

Regardless, most doctors will talk to you with 1 CH.

Radaway, shovel shit in NCR for the caps for the doc.  I dunno.

Radiation should be dangerous and have inconvenient side effects.

To have to limp across the wasteland, then shovel crap for doctor fee/mentat or both, that is an excellent way to play out an adventure gone wrong.

Indeed, and I am glad it will have even more "feautures" in the future. :) Also, Geiger Counters will be more viable and convient to use, a tool you dont want to miss on a long trip.

That's awesome Surf.  I saw a Geiger counter near the front desk at the reactor in gecko and it was out of reach.  I wanted so bad to grab that thing.  Not sure where it came from, GM perhaps?

No, it's intended to be unreachable. However, there'll be more public, but unclean Geiger Counters in the future.

Unclean?  Like it gives inaccurate readings?  And I can imagine, the clean ones are down in the Glow... so you can use an inaccurate one to get the good one?

Geiger are very easily obtainable through quest (and kinda usefull when ya want to know if you should go to the doc or take rad away).
