Another stupid question or two.  How do you do slavers runs and once you become a slaver can you enter NCR still?

To do a slaver run, you need to become a slaver by talking to Metzger in The Den. More about that in the wiki. As for NCR, only the NCR Rangers will shoot you. They are usually hanging around the workbench there. Main should be safe.

And to get slaves, you must use rope on unconscious NPC. To get them unconscious, you must hit them until their HP is lower than 0.

Also note that every NPC cannot be enslaved. Check this wiki article:

Thanks guys thats good info.  Couple more dumb questions.  I gained 6 hp when I leveled from 6 to 7, is that normal?  My end is 8.

I have been running around and grabbing weapons or whatever I can during encounters where I find two or more groups fighting.  Then I join in and try to kill any of the wounded ones I can and run off if to many of the turn on me.  A few times I've managed to kill or watch get killed all the mobs and got away with a few good guns.  But then later on I always end up dying and losing the gear anyways.  I have also completed  a few quests but for the most part I run around empty handed and hope to find something to fight with.  Will I have to take up some kind of crafting to keep my self equipped?

Lastly, if you open a bank account in one town, are they connected to other towns?

With EN 8 you will gain 6 maximum hit points every level. It is normal. You can boost it later with a Lifegiver perk.

You might need some little crafting, but you can also buy equipment from other players or NPCs. To talk with NPCs, you will mostly need CH 3. Also remember to build a tent to store the equipment.

I don't have any experience with bank accounts, so I cant answer to that one. Of course you can store caps in a tent too.

Yeah I have been trying to get enough hides for the tent but I usually get killed and looted before I can get up to 10 of them.

Sell the lousy guns you find for caps.  Put the caps in the bank.  Once you get 1000 caps, shout in the NCR bazaar "WTB 10 hides."  You won't have to wait too long before someone will come that has them.
