I didn't yet fight in a turn based combat which didn't include 30+ people. So I may be biased. :p

Turn based for PvP
Turn based for PvE
Turn based for scripted encounters.

I prefer 110% Turn Based. Its what Fallout is. a RPG with turnbased combat. FOnline can add multiplayer to that equation.

I dont mind the RT occasionally and only if all participants in an encounter want it. Other than that I consider TB much more tactical although I can understand some time it may be too time consuming a long. For that reason I would suggest reducing time allocated from 30 to 20 for now... still time to think and do but not so much.

Leave real time for FPS.

In the way you actually have time to register what is killing you.. Knowing is half the battle  :P
And in my experience it's more like: "god, he's trying to run, time to cripple his legs".

register what is killing you
man, fonline is not a concentration camp, and thats what happens when you plant 30 people on current TB.
Overcrowded place where people register what is killing them.

Really, a good joke of yours, but seriously - its just your fault that you've let someone kill you, so its also your fault you didnt registered why you died : >

TB is good unless it involves many players. Both RT and TB are good systems (But here, PvPers will quote and say "but TB sucks!!!"... :/).

But I have to say, as a personal opinion, that TB is much more interesting in small-scale PvP fights.

TB should be used only encounters/battles (few quest are too hard to make, because they are RT now example that dog mission and rail line gang)
And RT should be used only inside towns.

I also agree with you Ymeogamaouas... I like to enjoy TB... and I cant enjoy RT... its like it isnt natural for F1/F2...

Having some crazy idea again, but too shy to post as suggestion because of shitstorm:

-X players in encounter = always TB
-as player count has reached Y = message appears, Real Time combat in 10... 9...
-all players engage in RT with full/empty AP
-during countdown players can / cannot move.
-As player count reaches Y-z (where z is player loss due to killed/KOed/escaped players) TB jumps in again / does not jump in again.
-for towns always RT, because there would often be more then Y players and even if there where few it would interrupt players in another section of town or switch from RT to TB and back all the time.

What is tactical on situation, where you have 10 players in TB fight, and you are impossible to even shoot once because you die before your turn. Ehm.
