I'll do the numbers tonight on Plasma, anecdotes are pretty meaningless - just look at how wrong ebay is based on them.
Small sample experience < Numbers.
As said, if theres a problem it can be changed, it doesn't need pages of the same thing being repeated.

Nice that you are going to make the calculations Solar, I just want to say, please count with the perks, stats and traits used by powerbuilds, which is what mostly is used in PvP...
Solar:
Well, stats and traits aren't in a finished state, so I don't tend to bother with toughness or more crits as they won't be taken by everyone in the end. I stick to the fundamental ones - BRoF, 2*BRD and Better crits.
The minor ups and downs to all aspects that other traits and perks then just serve to mix the balance up a bit.
