road between cities?

It's not about the travel speeds... there are trading, roleplaying and pvp possibilities with this...

I would like it to be included, though. I'd like all non-road transport to be way, waaaaay slower so you can't just hop from town to town.
But this also requires stuff to do both in and around each town.
Roachor:
Kind of ruins the post apocalypse though, people want chaos not rebuilding humanity.
Berko:
You make a road,
Raider attack people on it to get stuff,
more guard to secure = more blood,
animals come to eat them,
merchants prefer to go on other way (too much kill, too much animals),
And become same as before :p
Actually the "road" between Broken hills and NCR is :
Quick (you go fast on the large white way, same as your road on drawing)
Some broken hills caravan(with very bad merchants ..)
But not many (because they are killed again, and again) (and again, because we cannot make something else merchant don't have stuff to sell)
Near the white way, some rogues and raiders are here (in the north)
But .. I don't really understand the suggestion, you want some location between NCR and brocken hills ? like many brahmin caravan on the road?
If it was a location on the road it would be safe or nobody will come to trade
If it's safe that will just separate people who trade in NCR in more group
I think I just don't understand the suggestion :)
maszrum:
The main idea was to increase the chance of meeting other players - the road was supposed to be more of a trail used by traders with increased map speed. That way BARTER would become more useful.
