Town control has 2 purposes:
1) bring money and some stuff to town controling gang but main reason is
2) organize (by players) pvp action among two or more gangs
N.1 purpose is fine i think, but can be balanced, but n.2 is fail.
Fonline open beta test is 1 year from the start and if the result of balancing and developing pvp process is one or sometimes two fights in more than hour, it is FAIL. /and there are 50+ or 70+ players ready to fight/Wait, i log my char at night hours just because 2 fights in one hour? Am i wrong?
15 minutes regroup + 25 TC cooldown + 5 minutes fight (sometimes only 5 seconds) + 15 minutes bad addict (jet bad addict, psycho and buffout is longer) + another 25 minutes of TC cooldown waiting and enemy sometimes does not come.. = 85 minutes for 2 TC fights. (sometimes less, sometimes only one fight instead of 2).
So are we, multi pvp players masochist?
There will be some changes in TC, but we dont know when and we dont know if this will solve that problem.
Why changes now?
* TC is boring
* TC consumes a lot of time
* TC result (fight or not) is very unpredictable (wait 25 minutes somewhere and no fight then)
* TC is not for small or not good enough equiped gangs or single players
* TC disable "normal" pvp in cites, because you risk engaging militia by coincidence or by controler gang members marking
* TC fights are very static (almost waiting in one place)
* Small gangs should join multi pvp too
* Drugs are killing pvp
* We want change NOW
* This change should not be hard to make, nothing new is needed to add, everything was here before
So i am suggesting: Make from Modoc city warzone.
* Remove Modoc from town control cities
* Also remove militia (of course)
* Respawn point near Modoc will grant you 100 percent chance of resurection, if you die in Modoc city
* Disable town preview???
Why Modoc?
* Modoc has PvP tradition.
* In first 2 eras, there was respawn point near and players were back in fight soon. This could be advantage for non junkies char (hurray, hurray) against junkies powerbuilds and saves time, of course
* In TC, Modoc is the last city what somebody wants to control, because of charisma needed to capture, because of non atractive stuff in city box.
* Both snipers and bursters can use their advantage in this city
* It is large city
* It is in the middle of PvP gang bases on the world map
* There is place for making drugs => drugs are mainly for multi PvP players => another reason for fights there
* There is not any major quest
* There is not NPC for obtaining profession you cant get at an other place
* Others cities will not be removed from current TC system
* Modoc warzone will attract PK
--------> Modoc warzone will not be problem for "regular players"
Most of us are bored of current PvP. So, do you agree with this idea and or not and why not?
