For now, "sneak-looting" is so easy, it's too profitable, compared to PvP, PvE, or crafting, you can gain a lot of stuff without fighting, and you don't need anything except a 300 % sneak character.
So, like Lemark said, it should be balanced.
And his idea is quite good, because it should be harder to make some stuff disappear in the middle of the battlefield than now. Or every sneak-looter should obtain the "David Coperfield" perk...
