I'm Being Repeatedly Killed In NCR

There's a guy named Metal standing at the entrance of the bazaar.  Every time I enter, he shoots me dead and the guards don't react.  I'm not vilified.  Only reason for this I can see is that he's idolized...

Although he's killed me about four times.  Shouldn't that decrease his rep to a point where he's no longer idolized, preventing him from killing me again?

I killed Forrest, then got killed by the guards.  I came back to NCR on a separate instance and then Metal killed me without repercussions, and then killed me several more times in this same manner.

i beleive you lose protection after so much killing,stealing,trolling etc..not confirmed

Way to assume xD
I killed a tent follower twice.  I never stole from anybody at all, so I would never have lost protection.
And trolling?  Come on.

At any rate, protection SHOULD come back after death.

If you are Hated, anybody can shoot you without the guards reacting.

as unupdated as the wiki is....  that is false, my profile was constantly on the verge of vilified (Hated) but whenever i was attacked I was stil gaurded.

I think I recall Forrest shooting me and getting gunned.  Although that was before Metal started killing me.
