Broken Hills Quests

Broken Hills Quest Ideas:

1.) There could be a non-repeatable quest that gives a C-4... a Zaius Quest related to mining supplies.
Perhaps it would involve delivering Electronic Parts/etc. to Dan McGrew in Reddign to experiment (unsuccessfully) with fixing one of the old mining machines.
   
 2.) The Pharmacist guy who says he doesn't have the gear to mix up chemicals anymore... have some quests for stuff like empty bottles, chemical components, empty hypos, xander/broc plants, jerky, etc.

Need 1000+ Broken Hills Karma to get the quest, and pay a token "Town Loyalty Donation" of 500 caps.

  When enough has been delivered (plus caps: 500 for Basic Capability, 2000 for Intermediate, 5000 for Advanced. Must do each level before getting the next.), he can make a little bit of stuff for you as long as you bring the components plus one extra of each ingredient, plus caps.

Basic: Weak Healing Powder, Healing Powder, Antidote, Stimpack, Nuka Cola.
25 caps. (Plus 35 for Stimpack.)

Intermediate: Rad-X, Rad-Away, Nuka Cola (6-pack, economy bonus! Have to make Theme Park pilgrimage and pay 250 cap upgrade to activate this option.), Mentats (have to do a side quest with the Radscorpion-training scientist in Residential to activate this option, plus pay 1000 cap laboratory upgrade fee.)
100 Caps. (Plus 50 for Mentats)

Advanced: Super Stimpack, Psycho, Buffout.
250 Caps.

Note that Psycho requires super stimpack, so you're paying 250 caps plus 1 extra of each ingredient, plus all ingredients to actually make the item.
So it's possibly higher than market price, but you can always get it from him if you have the materials.

Of course, this can just mean people stop making Doctor alts or trading for meds, but I doubt it. It's actually kind of a pain to do beyond the Basic and Intermediate levels.
Also the PKers will camp his office.

At least it's an alternative to the Med Terminals.

Oh, and he needs a set of Chemistry Journals to activate the Intermediate and Advanced levels (Each), and to activate availability of each drug within those levels (Rad-X, Rad-Away, Mentats, Buffout, Psycho, not the other things.)

Perhaps gain Town Karma from using his services, as with trading with the traders.

Hmmm, maybe add extra activation items: a First Aid Book for Intermediate and Advanced level (Each.) Plus to activate
Stimpack have to give a Chem Book and a First Aid Book.

Also: hopefully this puts some caps back into the economy so that banks will pay interest again. (Ok, maybe not.)

There would be a hell of a lot of scripting involved, and AFAIK the Dev Tools are a pain in the ass.

Note: "Activation" of various things is a One-Time event; after activation, options remain available.
