I wonder, if Interplay rips off 2238, should we feel ourselves betrayed or honored?
Because, i'd really want to see certain elements from 2238 in this MMO again, like mining and crafting (perhaps with our beloved cooldown...), professions, valuables (fair "more risk/less grind" equations), bases with benches...
Also, what i would really appreciate, is the old travelling system. Why?
They don't have to map the entire Wasteland. Bigger areals and randomly generated terrain in encounters would suffice, if they make travelling in a classic, slightly improved map travelling interface, loading a small map upon encounter.
That way, they save themselves A LOT of work, which would probably lead to a encounter-cramped, yet overhuge Capital Wasteland anyway and concentrating on interesting encounters instead, also allowing them to add new content almost freely.
Also, that would expand the game world immensely and would allow hidden individual locations, like tents and faction bases.
But yet, they should at least mention the Pioneers of Fallout Online, then.
