I've talked with management of Interplay about FOnline in meaning of usage of textures etc. from Fallout 1&2 in online game and they said that the only way to make it legaly is to make it as a mod to Fallout 1/2.
So, I think this time you're not right :)

Anyway I think Interplay knows better ;) Finally, they still got few rights with Fallout and they made them.

I dont get it then. I've said that FOnline must be mod if it's the only way to make it legaly and Interplay confirms that this is the only way and you're saying that I am wrong and they don't? It's non sense because I've just repeated what did they said.

You are wrong, because:
1. It is NOT a mod. Just because someone says "only mods are legal!" doesn't make it a mod. Technically it is not a mod, PERIOD.
2. Mod is NOT the only way to have the game legal. As long as there is no original content from Fallout distributed with the game it is 100% legal. What is original content from game or not is a matter of dispute. Fallout graphics and sounds are not included in installer.

Of course about legality you can believe Interplay managers more (they sure have proven to have great managers... not), that doesn't change the simple fact that it is NOT a mod (legal or not).

Law is directed by copyrights in computer programmes, so if Interplay noticed anything about something like "mod" or "modification" in Fallouts copyrights I think law would accept it.
