Here's one for everyone. Pure Fallout theme. "What the hell is going on" By Albin Bishop. Written by him after his daughter got kidnapped and murdered...

Cheers, enjoy killin' bluesuits and robbing player bases. Here's your theme song!

I saw the National few months ago, they were opening for Pavement in Paris. Not my cup of tea, but it was a great gig though. Not as good as Pavement, of course...  ;)

Superchunk - Fishing

Spastic Ink - The Mad Data Race

One of my new discoveries. An awesome instrumental track from a pretty unknown bad, was new to me too. The song came up in Last.FM radio, fell in love instantly. Listen to it!

No one death/thrash metal fan there? I don't mean mainstream shit for masses. Just pure, classical 80-90s like Kreator, Destruction, Sepultura, Slayer, Metallica...

Of course there are death / thrash metal fans here. I occasionally listen to Kreator, Slayer, Megadeth from the Thrash side, Death metal side, well. Death, Nile and Morbid Angel.

Also, my artist of the week: Between The Buried And Me. Their song Obfuscation is very good, one of my current favorites.

Hah, I hope you know about two sides of coin. First is Metalliica's 80s which is really one of best thrash bands - Kill 'em All, RtL, MoP, AJFA! Second are "other playing" (for me very shitty) from 90s to the future...

I had premonition that someone will wite something like in your post. ;] Metallica always still controversial topic.

While I writing about shit for masses I thinking for example about metalcore as there:

Between The Buried And Me
and other nu-metals... Yup, I'm ignorant. :)

Metallica stuff.

Why of course! Old Metallica is still rather good, I wouldn't had posted about Metalllica mainstream bla bla bla unless you would've mentioned the old stuff. :) Kill 'em All has a lot of good and catchy tracks.

Also, I didn't understand your point about BTBAM, could you explain it a bit more?

What more to explain? Untruth, mainstream "metal". It don't have soul as sincerity true metal. :P I checked one song, I think no more needed.

Between the Buried and Me hasn't really achieved any mainstream success. Do you even know the meaning of this term? Also, define "true metal".

Pointless discussion, talking about what is true or what is mainstream is endless as water in Nile (river ;)).
