Yes, this isn't a solution. Also, town leader can be killed by accident in a firefight..

Well if you "accidentally" kill the most important dude in town, it's really your fault. Pay attention !

Not a solution, but it's the first version of a "non-killable mayor" feature, so it can only get better.

Yep, you're right. We've been prepared.

Anyways, this isn't a solution at all. Will cause much annoyance, especially when a mayor like Marcus is out in the open.

You don't get it. Enemy can use this by standing behind town leader for you to kill him. Yeah yeah, I know that you should go around that guy and kill enemy, but seriously, this feature shouldn't make defending the town harder. Still, you can kill town leader if you wish, without problems, with a char who isn't a member of controlling faction.

If you'll have a problem:
Running Updater says: No update needed.
But loging in says: The network reports your client is an incorrect version, update the client.
Running Updater again says: No update needed.

You'll have to move faction008.dat (or any other needed file, but I prefered it, because it has really low size) to other folder or delete it, and then run update, so it'll be updated.

Btw, yea.
