You'llneed carebears/those folks who arn't homicidal maniacs and like crafting/trading.  But we all know how much this game loves carebears.

But yeah EVEs economy IS amazing, as close to real life as you can get.  Played a little but got bored since they turned the manticore from torpedoes to cruise missiles (or was it vice versa?).
