perhaps keep the damage low, cant kill anyone, but allow for the normal blinding by eye crit thing, with a normal one having average accuracy and the LE having high accuracy, so its expensive, non-lethal (practically) and can blind.

It was tehre before - result - bluesuits with BB gun cripled and blinded metal armor guys with miniguns and then were chasing them and on end bluesuits killed crippled metal armored guys with miniguns. And bluesuits were generally trolling with BB gun - by shooting in eyes and crippling.
So no no way  BB gun can be powrfull couse its troll gun.

Anyone who dies to a bb gun isn't getting trolled, that's not even a term you can apply to that situation. If you die when you have a better gun with more range that's just sad.

you cant fire blindly with a mini gun and waste every thing around you along with the BB gunners?

Leave the AP cost as it is, but make the damage 5-8 instead of 1-2. This would make the BBgun a tempting alternative to 10mm pistol for newbs because 10mm ammo is hard to make.

and to who ever said that they needed a cheap weapon for self defence while mining.. buy a .44 of some kind and have a clip or two.. thats all you'll need unless you want to shoot PKers along the way.

its minigun vs tiny gun.

and "bluesuits" unless i am mistaken means unarmored people, vs minigunners.

unless they have insanly high health than they'll only be able to take a few bursts at that.

The weapon is more or less a joke/rp gadget, it shouldn't be taken too seriously. Lowering AP cost is pointless. It'd be nice to have a LE BB gun tho.

Btw - air rifles are not all toys people make them out to be, they were used in warfare (not extensively because of production costs) and are being used for hunting and pest control. And yeah, hitting a man in the eye even with a 13J "toy" would probably kill him and surely blind him.
