Hi,
I have been stolen in vault city some time ago, no one notice, but i saw someone acting in my back and when i looked my inventory, my guns & bullet was missing.
So i shout everyone the guy was a thief, but yeah nothing happened and if i attack him i know i would have been killed.

What can i do in this kind of situation, cause it's absolutly unfair. Moreover the guy said me insanity cause i wasn't able to attack him, it's quite stupid thing. Is there anny mean to have autority help you?
I have searched a bit the forum and found not really something usefull about that.

actually when someone steals you and guards notice that, they say that by messaging and then you can attack and kill thief. If they do not notice the thief, well too bad for you he is good thief.

So he can steal me all my inventory and i can't do anything?
I finally try to clic him for showing the menu and try the karma sign, but seems the client ask the server for clicling a PC and i hadn't the possibility since he was moving.

Seriously ... That's a pitty if we can't notice to guard when there are thiefs ... A guy with 200% is never caught.

yeah the devs say fit to basically make it so joe shmoe no matter what will remain a victim, even if you know someone stole from you its unlikely that the guards will see if even in your in the bazaar at ncr, systems pretty much broken, they used to have a tag system where thief or blocker would pop up over their head and everyone would shoot the bastard but no matter what as soon as that dirty low down thief gets his hands on your items they are gone forever citing guard item deletion in cities, so no matter what the thief always wins and we get screwed, great game mechanics huh.

*i noticed that he managed to steal 1 cap, so i gave him 2 haymaker slaps*

Really felt sorry for the guy tho..
Imagine how much he sucked in his life untill he got a skill level high enough to be able to steal. How many times he got killed, because he wasnt a powerbuild. How many times you PKd him.

I dont really see the point in your story.
The guy attacked you ...

Here i am talking of being stole in a guarded city, the guy pass it and is not caught, you verify your inventory and the trick, you can't do nothing.
It's not easy to see this, he could have runaway the time you verify, but no, he keep going and say insanity and you still can't do anything cause if you try you are the one shot ...


And when you see this kind of thing right in front of guards i feel like there is really a bad issue. Guards should do something even if it's not firing them straight away.

I just got tired of shooting and such. Don't feel sorry about your stuff though. You did not have anything useful. And i think you should have considered my suggestion in red letters. Maybe in that case i would have returned your crap.

When you are killed, it's because you are not in guarded city, or taking risques or doing dumb things.
When you follow beginner guide, you stay in guarded city to lv a bit.
But here is the fact you have some guys stealing you over and over and you can't do nothing about it, and that's bassically an "exploit".
A game is interactiion between player and game, here it's nothing, you can do what you want,  there is no spare, and moreover the guy say insanity, sooo good.
I mean he use lame issue on players that can't fight back or even try to, and they are happy about that and no one see the issue.

And i don't care the guy say he would have given it back, yeah for sure ... but it's not the issue (if he steal and no one notice or he's gone when you notice, ok), here is something completly lame cause even if you notice, the only that risk death is you ...
Why the rules forbid to camp and PK on spawn points? It's exactly the same for me, you can't do nothing.

You can kill in guarded city, its called bombing and you just need some other guy to loot the body
