Yep. Same could be said about Baldur's Gate or Torment, yet somehow someone thought continuing down this path is a good choice and made/will probably make a good game of it (Pillars of Eternity, Tides of Numenera). Only Beth is clueless and made Fallout a fps with rudimentary rpg elements and retarded storyline.
