New and wondering where everyone is.
« on: April 14, 2013, 09:57:28 pm »

I played Fallout 1 and 2 religiously when I was a kid, so needless to say I was ecstatic when I found this game! I just wish I had found it when it was in its prime... I logged in and trudged over to Vault City, expecting to see at least one or two players but no such luck. Are there common meeting places or is everyone sort of doing their own thing?

The most common meeting place is NCR's bazzar, but a lot of nasty people hang out there, mostly becasue they already know that you basically HAVE to go through there from time to time.
The Hub's main entrance is also a reasonably common place to run into people, and the police tehre keep the worst of the riff-raff out.
Parts of Boneyard can get populaouce, especially Adytum.
Milposa is a pk'ers paradise, since you have to open a window to use the AWB there and have your back to them, meaning they don't even HAVE to sneak up behind you.
The only truly safe places are Hinckley (no weapons allowed) and the regen points (no violence allowed, not that you have anything at regen anyways).

Well the other day the max player-base was 55 in one day, but the last couple of days it was in its 60's and even low 70's. I think the some of the TLA population is beginning to realize that 2238 still has potential.
@biff: You can pm me as well, and I will see what I can do to help you begin.

Yeah I was just looking in the wrong places, I was way too far north.
I actually like the server population size, it seems pretty fitting to the fallout atmosphere.

Where did he say that? I don't see it in this thread.

In addition, TLAMK2's "style"? It's the exact same fucking game, just with more content and a bigger community.

No its not the same, you can pvp only in a few places, thats one of the main reasons why most of ruskies moved from tla mk2 to requiem.

I'm still seeing tons of ruskies on TLAMK2. Right now there's 232 players on, and the majority of those are russian.

I`ve been playing for past week. After wipe I stopped playing because of bugs and shit. All I can say is, THERE IS NO PLAYERS! Every town is empty! Only ncr has few players and thats all.

Dont want to bother you with my oppinion of the game, because you dont give a shit  ;D

Cheers  ;)

He did say that, and i'm not about to go searching for quotes.
And it's not the same game, besides from the plsma miniguns there are those weird jokes, the fucked up   special encounters, the different PvP,the realistic crafting system, the shorter map, etc.
