"Good cow." the wastelander said as he patted the loyal herd animal on one of its heads. The traveler said a silent prayer and waved a meaningless hand gesture over the Brahmins head. 
This last stretch into Shi land was rough territory, gang populated, narrow city streets, almost impossible for caravans to traverse. Apparently unaware of its heavy load of wood and metal, nor the danger to her precious head, the pack animal continued on with a sunny disposition that Ben had never seen in the mutated 'animals' of the wastes. 
It was if the Brahmin knew this trip would be safe.
It was a relief, even the momentary feeling of being 'safe', even from the perceived feeling of a cow. Before he knew it they had reached the Shi gate, without a scratch or harassment. 
Ben's gaze shot to the distance, to the razed remains that towered over outer San Fran, "the Glogengote Birg" the locals call it. He imagined a time were people were safe. Were they were free to create and explore without the fear of death....
He chuckled darkly. A naive fantasy at best. Taking one last look around, he made a mental pact to try to make this shit-heap world less of an eyesore.

MISSION STATEMENT: To make caps, teach new players the finer points of PvE, Casual TC and assorted PvP, and above all, to have fun.
