I think armors/helmets anti-crits should go down the more destroyed they are.
Also they should be lower for leather things.
I think it's ridiculous that you can nullify more crit perks with some crappy destroyed leather cap.

This is also good a good idea.
However single sniper shots hardly tear down the condition, to take a helmet down to for example 80, you need over 20 shots which hardly ever happens. For this either special ammo or gun perks are required.

Just make each hit by a weapon do more detioration, at this point we can stock pile a huge pile of armor without time consuming crafting so just make it where it detiorates more each time get hit.

Or maybe we can give untraditional tc weapons to detiorate armors more as part of something tactical and more interesting to game play outside of big gun battles. Then agian from a "realism aspect" big guns would probably tear apart armors if you think about it in realistic terms.

thats what makes a "game", randomness....

Actually alot of the BF3 community complained about random bullet spread. Your shots wouldn't go where you wanted them to unlike the super accurate laser rifles in Caw of Dewty. But we can all see how well BF3 did in comparison to MW3 (le joke).

In DoD 3.2 all the spread is precalculated. Same with CS, this is why CS has such competitive nature. Imagine how fustrated people would be if you couldn't control where your bullets went. Likewise imagine how dumb it would be if someone of lesser skill could kill you with 'randomness'.

I'm not saying remove crits but we should be able to have some counterplay involved with them like a perk that alters the critical effect table against you by a set figuire to prevent instalol by Better criticals (not sure if there is something already ingame haven't played in awhile).

Jinxed or is that just by critical chance or misses?

Crits have been heavily nerfed, instas are almost impossible against players. Jinxed is based on your luck/you missing

uh, I've never (and will never) play those games but I think you need a break.  Those are FPS this is shitty 2 & 1/2 isometric perspective.  Fallout never was and never will be a combat simulator....

I deny their heretical existence!  They are merely apocryphal games of dubious nature....
Unpure, unclean and definitely not fallout "cannon".

Fallout 1/2 was never meant to be multiplayer why we have such crap that we do in this game. Really how do you balance a game that wasn't meant to be a PvP game?

This game is a mod and it isn't developed by proffesional game company, making a comparasion to some random modern army style games is apples to oranges... oh god now im sounding like t-888 using the apple to oranges sayings...

No you're wrong, that's why he used the term "force".

In Fallout 1 and 2 you can run from rats and ants, and you aren't forced either to fight the guard at the of the temple in FO2.

In Fallout 3, when your char is a teenager, during tutorial so, there is a scripted sequence when you HAVE TO shoot on targets and kill a radroache in order to execute next script.

without crits game will be boring as shit! balance is not = fun.

Removing crits is just removing a part of the game. With this logic we can remove other parts of game to achieve balance:

- no crits
- no weapon damage range (always constant damage)
- no special
- no traits
- no perks
- no skills
- no leveling
- same gear for everyone
- and so on..

But in the end it will be balanced!

Overpowered functions are mostly left alone by developers to prevent excessive backlash and trolling and from the community.

Removing crits is just removing a part of the game.

How can you just state what's part of the game?
