Why bother having crits if they op certin weapons and will never be balanced why don't we just increese the DMG of weapons and AP of certin weapons like sniper should be 80-100 dmg and a base ap of 9 with a 5% knock out chance and 10% knock down chance. Laser should be 100-125 with the same as sniper
plasma should be 125-150 with 20% of knock down and same as laser ap.

because this is supposed to be based on "fallout".  crits are traditionally a key core component of "fallout".  Please don't take the crits out of fonline to appease the goofy pvp crowd that truly yearn for a shitty rock em sock em robot simulator....

No random factor = you can easily calculate whats best option, and since then, there will be no other builds out there.

It's called 'critical chance' in Dota. There is no counterplay involved.

150dmg per plasma shot? Then avenger should be 200-220dmg per shot which would be an instakill most of the times

Try to play requiem. They Have "terminator" and "snipers" perk and they play with out crits. U can be 80-100% terminator to avoid crits and u can be 99% normal tank So everyone use rl and ew weapons

Ammm i just want to add some balance and to have small guns and energy weapons play apart in TC like they used to not just Rocket Smash

Edit: and rocket launcher battles are not like that???

The best option would be to tie the power of crits more around the gear rather than the perks. For example "Betterl criticals" could be a gun/ammo perk rather than character perk.

Don't take the crit perks away, they're part of Fallout too, and they help people choose whether they're gonna try and be a crit sniper or a blaster.  Most the stuff wrong with this game is stuff that was done to try and appease the pvp crowd, there is way more wrong than people getting a few crits, and truth be told if you want to balance them, fix armor a bit, and maybe allow for easier crafting of the armors.

I think armors/helmets anti-crits should go down the more destroyed they are.
Also they should be lower for leather things.
I think it's ridiculous that you can nullify more crit perks with some crappy destroyed leather cap.
