My opinion: This game should have a PK mode likes other games:
- Each player has a PK combat mode: Friendly and Hostile
- A player have to switch to Hostile to attack the other PC
- If a player die in Friendly mode, the attacker will lost reputation
- A player with very low reputation (kills a lot of innocent people) get in-game bad effects (ex: good guard attacks, red color  name so the others could be warned...)
- Negative reputation increase to zero by time, or by doing quests (ex: shoveling shit for free, 100 shit for 1 PC he killed)

What do you guys think about it ?  ;)
Might as well remove PK at all. No, thanks.

I warned ya lol.  Someone already suggested a flag system for pvp, or at least a Level gap flag system where someone more than 5 levels higher couldn't attack you unless you attacked first.  Man did the pk's whine about that one.  Oh well least the new update has so fun involved and isn't all just attempted fixes for balance.

yeah and i can make a level 18 BG/SG burster and just rush all the level 24's without getting attacked first. game over.

do you even think before making such horrible suggestions?

Well since they were references to suggestions, not my actual suggestion no I didn't put a whole lot of effort into thinking about them, though I would say the gap should be a bit higher.  And besides in your example you'd get maybe 2 bursts off before they really reacted if you some how took them all off guard, and if you did take them off guard they're pretty stupid for not paying attention to someone who is coming toward them with a burst weapon and is just outta their kill gap.  Don't matter though the basic point still stands, the PK's are very touchy about changes to their bread and butter, and sadly since mostly the sadists remain so far into a season they're the only ones voicing things about changes in the game.

I'm not a PK (Hell, I don't even play this game anymore). The thing is that all these "PK limit" suggestions can be easily abusable. Gauvaran's suggestion has a huge hole in it - factions. Since factions do "Bam, Bewm, Tra-ta-ta-ta-ta, bang" all day in hope of something awesome happening when eliminating another faction's members, alot of kills possibly would be tagged as innocent. Then there's this revenge thing - I've had instances where I got killed while I have no gear other than a BB gun to farm the stupid amounts of XP you can get from molerats. Obviously what I do, is I take some piece of armor, a hunting rifle or something along those lines, get rid of the bastard that took my farming grounds until he stops coming back. It's just not worth the changes, it would be a pain in the rear to do anything player killing related that the wasteland has to offer. It would feel just way too game-y.
