Drawing frames.
« on: October 15, 2012, 05:41:09 pm »

Hello, community.

Do you like to own some custom character model you can use in 2238? I think i can help you with that.

You can suggest a frame set you want, and this work will be done.
But there is a catch.

After i make a small set of frames in one direction,(from 6 up to 17 pictures) this weekend, you will have to make the same amount of single frames. Then, i will do again the same amount.
After 3 such turns, you can make more frames, as much as you want - and i will match them.

Like a standard char to replace the shitty regular bluesuit?

If you can make a character that looks like me I would gladly try to keep helping with the frames.

The Scream guy or the guy in AC/DC tee?
Because i have a complete set of tshirt guy, all we need is to apply the quickpaste technique to repaint him.

Like this? I have no idea how to make aviators for now. The facial features are made by two pixels.

I used these pictures, your turn now, Brujah. The pictures below are the raw source for the next frame you can do. You can decide for some pants.

You can use image=>adjustments=>brightness/contrast to darken a layer.

Keep in mind that everyone can join the game.

This is epic and I will def keep it up until I have my little bluesuit brujah.

The glasses were actually extremely easy, just a pure-black dot at the eye region and then shape the glasses with transparent black... Alright now for the other poses...

I also believe I'll have to work out a bit more to reach this fine look-alike gentleman's psysique.

The black shirt looks like it was just bucket filled on the body and completrly lacks proper shading.

This is all a figment of your imagination. Try to look at it with different forum theme.
It's a darkened bluesuit with specks of black to mask the yellow.

Also, Brujah, a very interesting solution. Just simplify it.:)

Nice, hair looks different though:

In front, if more like a medium hair than long hair, bit lighter too, some sort of black-brownish.

Nevermind the IRC talk, but the job is dirty and numbers are huge. A different approach is needed.
Also, no idea what i'm doin, but here you have a eyebot walking animation.

The spootnick has two speed modes now. One sneaky wobblefree smooth movement.

Okay, here's the deal mentioned in WTB: Assistance offer:

What i need: I need assistance with short, simple, yet repetative tasks called jobs, like deleting stuff from images i will deliver with PM to interested performer. Do not forget to save! After completing the job, you pack it up in a archive, upload it, give me your ingame nick, screenshot of your done work, we discuss the payment place ingame and you give me the link to the archive.

What will you get: Every performer can select a set by PMing me, thus getting 100 caps for a frame. Every performer can sell only one set, then he must complete it, before he can buy another one. (to prevent boredom grind and to keep the job short)
The job is really easy and quick done, compared to ingame caps grind.

Today, the task is to delete everything from picture with a eraser, except for hair and head and save it. You can make it rough and leave the blue there. Important: image size must remain unchanged.

Offer:
Job 1: 1700 caps.

Job 2: 1700 caps.

Job 3: 1700 caps.

Job 4: 1700 caps.

Job 5: 1700 caps.

Job 6: 1700 caps.

Keep in mind, you not only gain caps for your ingame pleasures, but also contribute content and get a well-visible credit in a done work.

Some of the frames overlap (cut part of head).
This is especially visible on Job 3, but not only.

Yeah, that's just preview for visualisation of the amount of work. The spritesheet plugin for GIMP is buggy and one can't convert the spritesheet back to frames.
If you want to draw frames, PM me and i'll send you the proper images in PNG, you only need to hit Strg+S every time.
