Moving Audio
« on: September 12, 2012, 08:53:50 am »

In combat I've noticed that all the critters and creatures make no sound when they are walking/running. Everything in the game is a ninja or what? Maybe make some walking and sounds, and bring some more life into the game. Its easy peesy to do.

Some sounds are missing like for forever. Just go replay Fallout and you will be surprised what stuff you hear.

Please give a step by step guide how to implement the walking/running sound if it is so "easy peesy" to do for you. I am waiting.

More background sounds/noises, why not, but footsteps sounds? I am not sure it would bring more life to the game, I can imagine how it would sound if there were multiple things moving (horrible), also it would be wierd if there were same sounds for metal, sand and walkway floors. And I am not sure that with current engine those problems I mentioned could be solved without awfully much work.

Yeah I suppose your right. Its not as easy as I expected. I do have a little bit put into my server, but not even close to enough to make a difference anyways....
