Sometimes after a fight would be good to look in the log for damage which I did during the fight. You know, the fight 12vs12 is a mess and its so hard identify whose is whose damage. That means then you can still have a fun in analyzing your and enemy characters/demage after fight.

Recognition:
-  This can be done easily by student of high school in several ways:
1) for the sentence describing the damage add specificic character as '.', '*', '-' .... (at the beginning of the sentence)
2) for a sentence describing the damage to designate different colors, fonts, italics and so on ...
3) or rewrite the sentence so as to include players nicknames

I think it's very similar to yours though it's slightly different. Anyway, this little improvement when your damage is always shown in a way like this:
Raider was hit for X hit points.
Raider was hit by you for X hit points.
Raider was hit for X hit points and was killed.
would be enough I think.
