i think because your characters dont have rbte perk and snipers received nerf in last update. without rbte they're worthless you can deleteself. have fun!
Nothing to do with perks, lower critical chance decrease damage indirectly, you can understand that you will do less damage overall, but you will hardly notice that because of frequency in comparison to how raw damage nerf stands out. Changes for RBtE and helmets haven't touched damage, witch could be easily observed if it was, and it happens to be the case and that these changes aren't responsible for that.
Anyway, in building the next bit of the spreadsheet, to test bursts and their criticals, I learnt that I had applied the critical damage modifier in error (its applied before DT, not after). So slight amendments to the single shot damages:
Applied with update 28/06/2012, wasn't mentioned in the changelog.
Practical armors/helmets have high DT toward lazer resistance witch explains that lazer damage is affected by this change the most.
Personal input. That "fix" wasn't necessary at all, it was like that for a long long time and the balance was made around that, now it's just a nerf and not only for lazer, but aimed shots in general.
