In one sitting, or since yesterday? I just wanted to do an informal poll of how strong you are. Feel free to post numbers and hilariously horrible things rollbacks have done to you  Here's my story.

Yesterday:

1. I go to purchase a hummer at New Reno, scouting to avoid death squads.
2. Get hummer to base. Use alt to first aid a bluesuit knocked down near Salvador's, bluesuit almost escapes behind me but gets killed anyway. (Attack was pretty lame, I'm shrugging off headshots and easily make the exit grid)
3. Logs off for two minutes.
4. Server rolls back to before I purchased hummer. Have to re-scout and rebuy hummer.

Today:

5. I'm thinking about starting a new character so I'm checking out different cities for big guns, to see if they're easy to supply. Taking no chances, I put my hummer key back into my base before leaving on foot.
6. Run into Artillery encounter, head back to put artillery shells in storage for the lulz.
7. Check New Reno and Broken Hills with alt.
8. Rollback.
9. Check Boneyard with main. When I get there my hummer key and 500 caps in my inventory are back, ready to be thieved and looted. At this point I'm thinking some force really wants me to lose my hummer.
10. Head back to base because of this (to put key back).
11. Server down.

12. Throughout all of this I'm playing with my new character build in nitue, and though dismayed that my artillery shells have now disappeared, I'm finally ready with my new char.
13. Send new character west from NCR, hoping to re-equip from main.
14. Server rollbacks halfway through the journey.
15. Send new character west from NCR, then logs out quickly and hopes they will stick.

I'm sure some of you have suffered worse, so let's hear about it!

Hehe yeah it's been bad lately.

Today i registered a new guy and he was about to get his starting quest and BAM server down. When i got back in, he was on the world map with no starting items and no way to get his opening quest.

Later i was collecting junk for Etern's outpost newbie faction plan, and we all know what a grind it is collecting junk. BAM server down and when i got back in, the junk i collected was gone and the magneto laser pistols i made from someone were all gone too.

It's the nature of rollback. If i can just find the blueprint for Age of Empires, i think it will all be okay.

i raped a base once, killed all mercs, BAM! rollback.

then raped that same base AGAIN, flee with stolen hummer to my own base, rollback! luckily this time, the rollback took me exactly 30-60 seconds AFTER i left that base.

kill guys in reno, rollback they get their shit back. i get killed in reno, rollback i get my stuff back.

move 5 characters to reno, gear them up (took me about 20 minutes i think), then rollback.

level 5 levels, rollback, level 1.

jovanka made a really cool PVP event, then server crashed, i logged back in (30 minutes later i think), it was almost empty...

if these damned rollbacks and server crashes keep occurring, i'm packin' my shit and leaving. it's far too annoying.

lags, server rollbacks, fucked up PvP, crafting, everything just trying to piss you off, turning this game into really shitty experience.

it's pretty sad, really.

Server crashes often? Need to use it for profit!
I exploded the same dynamite over and over in NCR, so I got fun without loses. But... today I failed, exploded it too fast after server started and now I lost it, server managed to save data few minutes after explosion (I had weakness after rollback), so now I need another dynamite.

Edit: Oh, at least my main has > -1500 rep again and I can waste the same plasma nades again.

The process of trolling is more valuable than result, especially hearing their insults in my side, and I don't think trolling was "rolled back", I don't care what they felt when they noticed all their items returned, I care what fun I got when saw a group of people suddenly died by a suicidal bluesuiter who just ran in them and exploded for no reason.

Was that the blue vs. red waterworks deal? I liked that one at the onset, but there was no real goal in the long run. It'd be better if people could battle for loot, whether it be through wagers or contest rewards...

Hahah, your double-base rape undone takes the cake; somehow it always hits me when I'm rearranging inventory in lockers and about to logout. It's like "Really?"

Yeah, things like this have made me question how much time I should sink into FOnline; I like seeing the game for what it could be but if it gets too bad there's always some other FO2 mods to try out.

You still play AoE? I messed with Age of Empires II years ago but once Rise of Nations came out I never looked back.

1. I am at Maltese Falcon bar in Hub and suddenly beautiful woman appears. Ruth Babbeta was her name and we agreed to travel together. She was good with Big Guns so I bought her brand new LSW. Boom, rollback and she was gone. I was waiting for her couple of hours in the bar but she has not returned.

2. The next day I met some woman in Den and we traveled together. But unfortunatelly just for a while. Boom (in my face), rollback and she was gone.

3. Today I met yet another woman, again in Maltese Falcon. Patricia. We have been hunting together for a while (she is pretty good with guns, I can tell you that). And....if there was another boom in my face I would probably kill myself. Luckily we live together till now.
