I strongly agree with everything serious clown said. This server does have 2 different kinds of players. That the devs only acknowledge one of these remainds a mystery though. anyway, as a matter of fact, almost every change regarding the pvp system does not affect the pve players in any f***ing way so why do we even have to discuss this any further?
Always the same old arguements. Roleplaying wild west hobos with blue suit and shotguns is fine but the entire game doesn't need to be revovled around that. If you want to fight with low tier gear gimp your character for roleplay purposes there isn't anything limiting that. But there is 2 games and 2 types of players, there are those who enjoy doing quests who like to like to do pve and become super rich makes lots of caps, craft etc. Then there is the pvp community which doesn't really roleplay and more so like discussing power builds and testing out their pvp theories at hinkly and in a pvp fight. Also many pvp see leveling crafting and farming as an obstacle of what they really want to do, fight agiasnt other players with power builds.Fix town control where there is rotating factions and the town and militia isn't taken in 1 minute or less when 2 factions have 500 influence then there can be more roleplay in towns with factions who like to guard towns for these purposes. It would be a more lively game if people didn't have to afk camp for a week to take a town from another faction, which is why the old TC system was better it allowed for factions to rotate and take the towns easily if they were lost. Sure the militia was annoying in pvp purposes but it allowed for factions who liked to make roleplay towns to keep them easily for a good day or so, and then if they lost it it was easily taken back. Now its just some stupid 1 influence point troll game if anybody competes for a town once they have max influence. That is the issue, its not an issue of the entire game should be roleplaying as hobos with a shotgun.
Well everybody is differnt but there are some who just like to play this for pvp and don't like leveling or crafting.

The big PVP factions are never going to try that. Want to know why? Because in that game, they have no way to rise above, take advantage of, and exploit others. In this game, they have the smaller and/or weaker players and factions to feed off of and gain stuff from, and no one can complete against them. Why would they be interested in a mindless deathmatch game? Unless they're all banned, SoT, CS, and the like are here for good and there's nothing we can do about it.
Actually it is prime alot of SoT, CS, and hawks played that game. And of course BBS as some of their members made the server.

The fact is many players have quit because have been killed and raped many times from other players in towns. i was almost to leave too. If the game continues like that, the only games will stay on server will be the "killers"I believe some thinks must change. to find the wastelander on desert and kill him has a logic.. becuse there is no other people there. but in cities must be a karma penalty for killing.i really don’t care for the time i have lost to figure out the rules, and assholes. but i want many players on game for fun.
Open bases to being found after they have been around a while and/or have high level members.
Make towns rebel if left alone too long, and militia have loyalty like mercenaries.
Also- caught thieves are kicked from NPC factions.
