Still back to the same issue, needing another alt to do a redundant mundane task to maybe get a chance to get an item for another alt to use maybe.

If people find that many BPs with Luck 1, then i say Luck doesn't matter.

Someone asked me this in PM:
1. How many times should I try to open the footlocker before I give up?
2. Can a footlocker spawn behind a wall, so that I can see it only when I'm close to the wall? (I've seen like 80 footlockers and all of them were clearly visible)

How many times you try is totally up to you. I have opened lockers on the 3rd try for sure, so with Lockpick 300 i try to have patience and try 4 times. One guy said he stayed with a locker for 5 hours and never opened it though, so it sucks that we don't know the full story on the math involved - some people are wasting a lot of time on this.

As for hidden lockers behind walls where view is blocked: i have never found any but i have rarely looked. I cruise an area finding encounters. I often use my Luck 10 big guns fighter for this. I keep F4 toggled off to minimize the interface panel so i can see more. When i find an encounter, i get ready on the Z-key to zoom out when i appear on the grid. The moment i appear in an encounter, i am doing these things as fast as i can, all simultaneously:

1) running toward an exit
2) while i run, i am zooming out to see more of the whole map
3) rapidly scan whole grid for lockers
4) assessing the threat level of whatever populates that encounter

You should know if a locker is there by the time your guy gets to the exit. If i spot a locker, i decide quickly if i can "handle" the NPCs there and either exit, or fight. If i fight and win, i call in my lockpicker guy (all chars have radios) and he opens lockers. If it's trapped, i call in my tumbler, my doctor and my traps specialist. So i'll often have 4 chars standing near a locker plus friends on a good day. This process gets easier with practice.

There are possible hidden from view lockers, behind wall: North-East of small urban map with destroyed buildings and cross road and inside building: West of map with 2 or 3 buildings, west building with upstairs to 2nd floor.

Edit: Also I can remember behind roof, South of map, destroyed building, but with roof, that covers locker, can't remember the map itself.

I've noticed a few changes too last 2-3 days:
- less lockers in encounters

i notice this today. 15 encs and not 1 footlocker.
Never been that bad before.

Do you have any proof that luck10 increases the ammount of quality items found?

Luck only increases critic damages / encounters chances.

Items is generated by another system called "random"

I found around 10-15 blueprints in total with a 10 LK TH build. I also found a minigun, laser rifles, MAs, LAs, LJ, flamers, radios, laser pistols, 10mm pistols, ammo, alloys and caps.
Stackable items almost always are 1 item. I think I had 2 or 3 alloys once, but that's it as far as stackable items go.
Laser pistols and 10mm pistols seem to be the most common weapons. LJ seems to be the most common armor.
Laser rifles, radios and LAs regularly come in pairs.

This weekend I found 2 blueprints within 10 minutes of eachother.

1 major advantage of a 10 LK BP hunter is that you're more likely to find stuff in car wrecks.

How about outdoorsman? Since footlockers don't appear in empty encounters, I was thinking of increasing the amount of hostile encounters I get, which in turn might increase the chance of finding fooflockers. Therefore, is it more efficient to farm footlockers with a low outdoorsman char, since it results in more encounters? By more efficient I mean the amount of lockers found in a certain amount of time. Afaik outdoorsman does not affect the actual contents of the footlockers.

I think none knows for sure, but your feelings are common in the wastes. Low out = more encs. Which is bad, but thats not the point.

Unless they start handing out free tag skills lockpicking will never be worth making an alt for, most boring use of your time possible short of steal. There should be a way for all char types to find bp not useless alts.
