So there I am... Beataman, my melee alt, doing the quests as I usually do cause I enjoy it.

So after reading the bill board in NCR next to the Sheriffs office I head over to the ranch to do the quests for the man there.

The first one is to make sure his brahmin stop being scared. Basically you are lead to the location of his ranch where -17-  brahmin are basking in the sun.

Before long a bunch of kids show up and scare the animals and it is this that makes them agitated etc... you deal with the kids (either by killing them if you are a calous bastard [shame on you!] or by paying them off or by scaring them/explaining how its bad for the moomoos).

And then you are about to leave...

And you think...

Wait a second... I actually do need 10 hides to make me my tent... and there are many of those bastards here!

So you proceed to kill the silly beasts and end up with 17 brahmin hides.

TADAH!

Pretty sure they only attack 1 by one not as a whole.

They dont attack all together (which makes sense, they are domesticated brahmin not wild ones).

And basically the guy doesnt attack you when you come back. Which makes sense as he doesnt magically know what you did. He sends you out there and you return with the story about the kids and he says he will from now on send his own men to keep the place safe... so dont see how he would "know" you killed all them brahmins.
