I see they made a nice texture for my flamethrower. Is this stuff downloadable already? Then I can make me a FNV flamer mod out of it.

The guys need support in form of modelers, texturers and advertisers, btw.
For me, i can't do textures for shit, just modeling. And secrecy aren't leading them nowhere, it's time for advertising it, even on Nexus.

Edit: actually, the stuff is saved up to grande opening, Lexx, which is soon.

I would be happy already if I just get the two models + textures for personal use, because I just hate the flamethrowers in Fo3 / FNV and don't use them because of their look.

Very nice.
But I see they are sticking to the roots with 1-floor buildings. I'm not sure if it makes sense in full 3D with first person view.
At least they could have a bit different height here and there.

Yea, but i guess that will be different in Reno, i guess. I also have seen the NCR the one guy made, that looked pretty impressive. I think Fant0m would be able to tell more about the project...

Could someone make a short summary what this is about? Google translate gives... questionable results.

I don't know too but I supose that it is total conversion for Fallout 3 and NewVegas which make it Fallout 2. Also I found in moddb there was another mod which is Fallout 1 remake but this mod died. Check here.
If you know more tell there I am interesting too.

So far, these are FAQ's from this thread.

We speak here about a Fallout 2 conversion technologically based on New Vegas.

1.Are you dead yet? No.
2.Will we get a Higwayman? Yes
3.Will we get Sulik, Myron, Cassidy as followers and old critters like floaters, etc? Yes.
4.What about old locations, like Arroyo? Yes.
5.How much percents totally is made already? No idea.
6.Why? Because the field of work is quite multiplex and made by team consisting from different people with different skills, free time and other influencing factors .
7.Blue Nukacola? Nope.
8.Frank Horrigan? Yes (complete)
9.What's the name Molten Clouds? The name of the team.
10.How is the project is called then? No name yet, it gets one with beta or with 1.00.
11.Any new locations and plot twists? Yes, because its planned to include Killap's Restauration Mod and Megamod.
12.Isometric view? Not sure if optional.
13.V.A.T.S.? Yes.
14.Groin shots? Doubt that.
15.Are groin shots technically possible? Yes.
16.Two-handed shooting? No.
17.Will V.A.T.S be turned out all the time? No, it will be toggled.
18.What kind of type will be the Gauss rifle? Light Weapons.
19.Could the armor of Frank Horrigan be looted? No.
20.Why? Because it's not even a armor, but grafted inside Frank. And it's too huge.
21.What PIP-Boy will be in the game? The 2000 one.
22.And why is this one is strapped to the hand? Because it was strapped on the arm in F1 and F2.
23.Why are the news so infrequently? Because noone is writing them atm.
24.Are the modders aware that you're using their mods? Yes, they were informed and gave their permissions.
25.is it possible to play with a very stupid character? Yes.
26.Will all radscorpions be brown? No, no all.
27.Will we have VaultCity? Yes, see fig.4.
28.Can Franks weapon be looted? No.
29.Why not if it were possible in F2? Because it was a bug, not a feature.
30.Will there be dubbing? Yes, in time. (first the Russian one)
31.How will one travel between locations? With Worldmap.
32.Will tribals have bows from Oblivion? No.
33.How about sudden encounters? There will be in game.
34.What colour will the supermutants have? Different - grey, green, blue.
35.Will there be a demoversion? No.
36.So, when is it done then? Looks like in 2012.

Hm I am a  bit sceptical why one would play the old games in this clusterfuck of an engine, but I'm giving it the benefit of doubt.

12.Isometric view? Not sure if optional.

12. Wow, isometric view would be awesome and reminds more fallout 2. I think this mod would be great if they do isometric, I don't know how they do it but you know it would be amazing.
36. Really? I can't wait.

If they are going to add isometric-like perspective, they should use a different engine, imo. Either they port the old games to the shitty engine and it's gameplay (which will take years, I bet and the result probably will be just meh. I find it highly unlikely for such a project to be done in 2012.) or they take some other engine and just transform Fo2 into a 3d game. The later one is what I would prefer, if the game really has to be remade.

So far the infos i also received from F@Nt0m about the site.

There are two projects on Molten Clouds site: 1. Fallout 2 with some changes on New Vegas base and author project by Comrade Lights "Another ways", which has a different story. Every screenshot in the gallery are not from the main project but are made by the Lights and are his own. The site english version is in alpha, but it works - just select English in right upper corner. Everything concerning translation can be found at forums, there is a english subsection.

(Gallery links needs to be done tomorrow)
