Although I do hate the engine it is very moddable and hopefully this project will amount to something nice.  (Hopefully something can be done with what I consider to be terrible combat)

I consider Fallout 3 and NV combat (in hard, Hardcore, and without VATS) one of the best strategic systems ever made for a standard shooter (shooter system, i know FO3 its a "actionRPG"), maybe only Halo Reach is better. Tough its only my opinion :P.
Also, the storyes of Fallout 1 and 2 were epical and enjoyable in his own engine, and the Gamebryo (is that engine isnt it?) is not much esthetical, and in the end THE HISTORY WAS ALREADY TOLD.
In the other hand an extended enough new fan history is really worth to make and play, even more if it has FO1 and 2 canon on it, and guns, critters, etc.

Lexx and every other Fallout modder can sing you a song about F2 engine, LagMaster. Not that Gamebryo is a pinnacle of software design, either. But since this is a New Vegas mod...

New Fallout game definitely will use creation engine which was use in Skyrim.
Anyway I hope this mod will release "soon" but earlier than "soon".

Hm I am a  bit sceptical why one would play the old games in this clusterfuck of an engine, but I'm giving it the benefit of doubt.

This.

Aside from those good looking models I've so far seen, I have to agree with Surf.

I still can be reached over e-mail if you somehow need anything from me. Don't see a reason why you would, but if you do, e-mail remains the safest bet, as I do not visit this forum reliably anymore.
