ok well I apoligize for my passwords being lifted and my characters abused. anyway. please read other related threads in BUGS and other more serious threads relating to my issue. once again Lexx, thank you for clearing this matter up and approaching it honestly, also I have made a suggestion in "suggestions" to prevent alt tampering and password theft in general, other then just keylog. please, Lexx, if we can solve this issue here, we can save alot of other MMO servers in one final swoop of some kind of weird justice in this world* I mean you can't break code? can you?

No doubt man! This is better than anything on TV these days (except The Walking Dead maybe)... But c'mon... He's quite clearly off his rocker. He called the police over something that happened in Fonline! I mean seriously... What sane person does that? He threatened real life violence on someone over a game, which would be a little worrisome if the idea of it wasn't so damned ridiculous anyway. And when it comes down to it... Nobody is being charged money for this game so the devs, or whoever is in charge around here, are free to ban anyone at any time for any reason they feel like. Businesses back in the day used to hang signs that I think Fonline could use, "We reserve the right to refuse service". That was just a nice way for an owner/operator to let you know that if you annoyed them they'd throw you out. Frankly, Elvis deserves to be banned for the death threat alone. Although I'd be little sad to see him go since his meltdown has just been hysterical reading all around.

Hey guys, thought you might want a summary of elvis.

First off, he's legally insane by his own admission and was discharged from the australian army for that reason.
he betrayed DoW, stole some loot, ran off. (everything he is talking about happened a year ago, last wipe, some of the stuff he talks about is even older and less relevant, more insane)

One of our members knew his password, so we stole back ONLY what he had taken in his rage, and removed his chars from our bases while we were at it. It was all good faith at this point.

Next came an epic nevereding rage torrent, still going to this day. He started spamming these forums with hate, (ye can find the posts if you can be bothered), hundreds of pages of pm spam to me and elaela(alcapwn) including massive amounts of death threats and threats of personal violence, especially towards me.
Almost everything he is ranting about is from his insanity, I bet this round of insanity is due to one of the DoW members registering Elvis after wipe, and another DoW member registering the MDK base (we have a lot of ex-mdk members who wanted to protect the name from elvis madness)
he assumes it is through hacking or whatever and the rageflames begin. It a vast conspiracy of EVIL MENNNN@@!!!!

Personally I think he deserves to be banned, just for the death threats etc, if nothing else.
He went as far as saying he would kill me on one of my friends facebook walls and shit like that,  it was serious.
The elvis rage is never going to end, the only thing that can help him is leaving fonline forever.
You only need to see logs of one of his ragebomb insanity rants to see the truth of the matter, DoW could probly provide one but it's  really beside the point. He'll apologise profusely one day and threaten to disembowel you the next.

anyway this post will probably get me stalked and killed by a madman, (he lives on my continent) but i feel i should to post this. If he's not trying to kill me he will be trying to kill someone else anyway.

His state of mind does not justify why someone would break into his account. He had all rights to screw you guys over in the game. You guys had NO rights to log into his account without permission even if you knew his password.
You could have hunted him down in game.

I don't understand why he would give anyone his password but it still does not allow you to log in as him.
Giving a password away is like giving away keys to your house. But you still don't have rights to step on his property without permission.

All of this could easily be avoided if everyone kept their passwords to themselves and no one would share accounts or log in on other's accounts.

We had the exact same "rights" (wtf) to use his freely shared passwords to take back our items as he had to use our freely shared base to steal our stuff. I'll ignore the many other logical and illogical fallacies in your post.

This isn't about personal user morality it's about doing stupid shit in a game then threatening to kill people and harassing them epically irl.

If it makes you feel any better, elvis immediately started a new faction and gave out his passwords to the very same characters we used to get our stuff back. His new friends (nicolas and some guy) immediately stole all his characters and began taunting him with them. of course i was blamed. so yes his mental processes are the root cause of all his problems, and preaching morality aint gonna help that, sorry.
