Well they do exist, and most blueprint armors require them.  I would like to know how to get them, other than the single HQ fiber I found in a shop.  I've only been able to make one metal armor mk 2.

AFAIK, Devs forgot to delete HQ Fibers from the requirements list of hi-tech armors crafting.
It should be fixed after next update, I HOPE BECAUSE MINE PRECIOUS METAL MK 2 ARMOR BLUEPRINT IS COVERED IN DUST!

Regular fibers will not work.
If the HQ ones aren't intended to be in game, I wonder where the few that are came from.

Metal armor mk 2 now takes normal fibers, so i assume CA does now too.  So they must still need to change dismantling some.

No I changed CA to actually use fibre+ because it was way too easy to make them before.
