No this wasn't the first time I heard about it. I did see some talking about it on blogs and stuff but I didn't give it much thought. Now I see it gets serious. And no it's not "shelved" it's pending for an approval and soon it will be approved if we don't do anything.

im confused why people over here in the US are more concerned about SOPA than they were about NDAA. Obama doesnt support SOPA and PIPA but supports US citizens being able to be locked away for being terrorists. the term terrorist is so loose these days. in theory opposing SOPA can make you are terrorist. i dont get it...

Just imagine how crazy people get about random things on internet all the time :D. Imagine if that happened to ALL of the internet pretty much? ;)
Even if it is passed, it won't last a day or maybe 2 at the most. 8)
