give guy 10k , guy gives you contruction site, place 1000 wood and 500 junk on contruction site map. base becomes depot.
that is how it worked for tsar. location of base might decide what kind of base it is thou am not sure.

Hmmm, weird, because the construction guy of the beginning have different dialogs, offering different bases. But how do you know how much resources of what you must get? The progress panel doesn't show anything.

i was not there at beginning to buy base so i did not know they offer different bases so i was guessing location depends on what base you get.

i know how much thing you need because the bulletin board on the construction site says wood 0/1000 and when you put some wood down is says  1/1000. atleast for depot.

somehow i get a strange feeling about this... just to clarify: ist this a faction base like the cave and so on... or do you need to already have a faction to buy those OR is it like personal tent? i cant find outposts in the wiki.

There are two types of bases now: The random ones (caves, etc.) which are cheaper and the ones where you can chose your own location. These one require you to collect a shitload of additional ressources. You don't need to have a faction base to buy a construction site.

well if its only 10k i dont care about farming ressources... thx for the answer i will search for some random guy with some random 10k dialog  these guys should mention this in the wiki btw i was very confused the last hour 

Edit: could'nt find any npc in NCR with an dialog for outpost construction... maybe because i was without teammates and/or the ammount of money needed
